2nd pair now
For a couple of quid more than the fakes these fit better and should last better than the fake ones. These are my 2nd set of covers and prolong the life of my headphones.

Saved my HD25's from the bin
I had replaced the original, disintegrating ear pads with third party velour ear pads - I thought they would be hard wearing. But the low frequency reproduction really suffered. So much so that I thought the headphones were broken and needed replacing. I tried the Sennheiser pads as a last chance. The seal between headphone and ear is much better and the low frequency has returned.
